General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong cut the ribbon during a ceremony in Paris on March 28 to deliver an A350 Airbus wide-body plane to the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved the supplementation of a highway connecting northern mountainous provinces of Hoa Binh and Son La to the planning scheme for highway development until 2020 with a vision to 2030.
A sea bridge that is over 5.44km long, part of Tan Vu-Lach Huyen Highway in the northern port city of Hai Phong, was put into operation on September 2, becoming one of the longest of its kind in Southeast Asia.
