Minister Dinh La Thang received President of MITAC Information Technology Corporation(Tuesday, 02/06/2015 10:15 GMT+7)

In the morning of 2nd June, at the head office of the Ministry of Transport, the Minister Dinh La Thang had a meeting with the President of MITAC Information Technology Corporation (Taiwan), Simon Chiang. Attending the meeting were Deputy Minister Nguyen Hong Truong, Directors General of Traffic Safety Department, International Cooperation Department

At the meeting, the Minister Dinh La Thang welcomed Mr. Simon Chiang and the Missions of MITAC Information Technology Corporation (MITAC) for visiting and working with the Ministry of Transport in the field of railway traffic safety. The Minister believed and expected that the cooperation between the two sides in various fields of transportation will be made in the future on the basis of mutual benefit.

"Now there are many Taiwanese companies involving in the projects of the Ministry of Transport, particularly Electronic Toll Collection - ETC of Vietnam currently applies charging technology of Taiwan", the minister added.

At the meeting, the Minister assigned the Deputy Minister Nguyen Hong Truong to arrange time working specifically with MITAC’s Mission on research and investment in the transport sectors in general and railway sector in particular.

Speaking at the meeting, MITAC’s President Simon Chiang appreciated the drastic working morale of the Minister Dinh La Thang. He also thanked the Minister for taking the time to meet the Mission and desired to cooperate with the Ministry of Transport in the following time.
