On November 21, at the Ministry of Transport, Vice Minister Nguyen Nhat has met and worked with the Ambassador of Switzerland in Vietnam Beatrice Maser Mallor to enhance cooperation in the civil aviation field.

The two sides agreed to promote cooperation between the two countries' aviation

At the meeting, Vice Minister Nguyen Nhat said, the aviation cooperation agreement between Vietnam and Switzerland signed 36 years ago. Currently, the airlines of the world has developed, Vietnam has also joined the extensive in international organizations and multilateral trade agreements. Therefore, Vietnam and Switzerland need to sign a new agreement as early as possible to match the reality and the new regulations of the ICAO, to create the basis to promote cooperation between the two countries in the aviation field.

According to Ambassador of Switzerland Beatrice Maser Mallor, Vietnam and Switzerland are negotiating toward additional Protocol signed on cooperation in this field. So to be able to soon sign new Agreement on aviation cooperation between Vietnam  and Switzerland, the two sides agreed to continue discussions on the procedures, contents new Agreement, in which updates new regulations under the Law on Vietnam’ civil aviation and the ICAO on freight, security, safety ...
