Minister Truong Quang Nghia meets the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in Vietnam

On 26th April 2016, at the Head office of the Ministry of Transport, Minister Truong Quang Nghia had a meeting and working with Mr. Fukada Hiroshi, Ambassador of Japan in Vietnam.

At the meeting, the Ambassado had congratulated Minister Truong Quang Nghia when elected to the highest leadership position of the Ministry of transport.

According to the Ambassador, the Ministry of transport is one of the important ministries, is a partner of Japan for ODA projects in the transport fields. The Ambassador hoped that in the future will together with Minister Truong Quang Nghia particular and between the Government of Japan and the Ministry of transport of Vietnam building close relationship, mutual trust, through which received the interest and cooperation of the Minister.

“The Government of Japan wants to promote cooperation with a focus on ODA, contribute to the development of infrastructure, including for Vietnam’s transport infrastructure", the Ambassador said.

Speaking at the meeting, the Minister Truong Quang Nghia affirmed the relation between Vietnam and Japan is growing deeper, especially the visit of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to Japan on 9th May 2015 is a event marked the relationship deeper cooperation, trust between the two countries.

Minister Truong Quang Nghia and the Ambassador also had frank discussion for the important transport projects such as the Long Thanh International Airport projec, the Lach Huyen international Seaport project, urban railways No. 1 and No. 5 in Hanoi and North-South express railway.
