On May 6, 2016, Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) signed the Contract packages 14B1, 14B2 under Da Nang – Quang Ngai Expressway Construction Project (funded by the WB) to Viet Vuong Join Stock Company - Vietnam Construction and Import Export Corporation (VINACONEX) Joint Venture.

The total value of 02 packages is 417.909.444.009 VND. (including taxes, fees and 15% contingency cost), the execution time is 486 days.

Da Nang – Quang Ngai Expressway Construction Project is the first expressway project which VEC is the Employer in Central. After finishing, this route will make an important contribution to impulse the development of Central important economic area, contribute substantially to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, improve life quality of people. Besides, the Da Nang – Quang Ngai Expressway will ensure traffic through; reduce heavy burden and the number of traffic accidents, traffic problem of 1A National Highway; urgently support for local people in flooding season.
