transport sector development to the former Director of the World Bank in Vietnam
Minister Truong Quang Nghia appreciated the support and efforts of Ms. Victoria Kwakwa during her term on the Country Director position of the World Bank in Vietnam has made effective contributions and active in the Vietnam’s transport sector development through projects funded by the World Bank for transport sector as project of upgrading the road network, the transport infrastruction development project in Mekong Delta area, the transport development project in Tonkin Delta area, project projects development of Transport North delta areas, the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressways project...

On this occasion, Minister Truong Quang Nghia had congratulated Ms. Victoria Kwakwa and sincere thanks to staffs of the World Bank representative Office in Vietnam for their cooperation, valuable support for the Vietnam’s transport sector development over the years. The Minister also expressed wishes on new position, Ms. Victoria Kwakwa will continue support and assistance for the Vietnam’s transport sector development, especialy in projects which are implementing as well as projects which has just been proposaled of the transport sector.
At the ceremony, Ms. Victoria Kwakwa - Vice Presidedent for the East asia and Pacific of the World Bank in Vietnam, former Director of the World Bank stressed that today noble reward not only dedicated to her rather to collective leaderships, staffs of the World Bank because of the close cooperation and effective over the years to contribute for the Vietnam’s transport sector development. On that basis, Ms. Victoria Kwakwa believed that, the cooperation relation between the Ministry of transport of Vietnam and World Bank will continue to develop further in the next time.
