The first road under VRAMP officially opened to traffic

Project maintenance and upgrading NH6 section Hoa Binh - Son La (Km78+300 - Km193) is a subproject under the Subcomponent B3 - VRAMP by Directorate for roads of Vietnam is an investor. It is also one of the six roads were construct invested in the VRAMP using loan capital of World Bank with NH2, NH48, NH38, NH38B and NH39.

The project has a total length about 115km with the total investment of early 600 billion VND, going through two provinces are Hoa Binh and Son La.

Now, the project was completed, eligible to open to traffic and put into operation. This is the first road under VRAMP officially opened to traffic. In the future, the Ministry of Transport will soon continue upgrading NH6 section from Moc Chau to Son La city.

Deputy Chairwoman of the Vietnam National Assembly Tong Thi Phong suggested the government of Hoa Binh and Son La province operated effectively the road has been upgraded and considers it an important content in the efficient use of loans, concurrent strictly implement direction of the Government and the Ministry of Transport in the use and maintenance the road, contribute developing socio-economic of  two provinces as well as the North West provinces. She also suggested the World Bank continue to support Transport sector to implementing projects maintenance, upgrade Vietnam’s national highway system, contribute to poverty reduction.
