More opportunities for cooperation between Aichi province (Japan) and Vietnam’s transport sector

On september 12, at the headquarter of Ministry of transport, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Dong has met and worked with Mr. Hideaki Omura, Governor of Aichi province (Japan).

At the meeting, Mr. Hideaki Omura introduces prominent economic activities in Aichi and central Japan. Including Toyota's cars combined electric and petrol and less emissions created; small aircraft manufactured by Japan can transport from 70-90 guests; high speed train Shinkansen from Tokyo travel to Nagoya (Aichi) only 45 minutes ... He also said, Aichi currently has about 13,000 Vietnamese origin people live, work and study (only less Tokyo). By contrast, also has more than 150 enterprises from Aichi invest in Vietnam, especially the Toyota.

Mr. Hideaki Omura has proposed increasing the number of flights are operating  route HCM city - Nagoya, and open new routes between large cities such as Da Nang ... to Chubu international Airport in Aichi, in order to further promote the people's exchanges and tourism between the two countries.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Dong was emphasized the enormous support of the Japanese for Vietnam’s infrastructure development, including transport infrastructure. Deputy Minister welcomed the proposal of Aichi government and expressed confidence with the potential number of passengers will increase, the Vietnam’s airlines will biuld the plan to increase flights between Vietnam and Nagoya.

For the opening of new routes from large cities such as Da Nang to Aichi, the Ministry of transport will support and create facilitate conditions for the airlines deploy in the earliest time.
