At the Ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Transport of Viet Nam, Deputy Minister Nguyen Nhat expressed his sincere thanks to the Korean side for supporting the transport development in Viet Nam through financing transport infrastructure projects. He stressed that all transport infrastructure projects supported by the Korean side have contributed to enhancing the transport connectivity as well as improving the socio-economic development of Viet Nam.
Deputy Minister Nhat highly appreciated the excellent contribution of the Office of Korean Export Import Bank in Viet Nam, especially of Mr. Kim Young Seok, former Chief Representative. During over 3 years in Viet Nam, Mr. Kim not only cooperated with bodies of MOT in implementing on-going projects but also was very active in supporting Viet Nam in calling the Korean side to finance new transport infrastructure projects in Viet Nam such as Vam Cong brigde, Lo Te – Rach Soi section, Tan Van – Nhon Trach Section, etc. Deputy Minister informed that the Commemoration Medal awarded to Mr.Kim is also the thanks and appreciation of the transport sector of Viet Nam extended to the staff of office of Korean Eximbank in Ha Noi and the Korean government and people.
In his speeches, Mr. Kim Young Seok expressed his pride of having contribution to the development of Viet Nam transport sector. He also thanked all officials of related agencies and PMU under MOT for their support during his term in Viet Nam.
