Hai Phong international container terminal project invested by HICT with total investment of 321 million USD. This is a joint venture formed by the Saigon Newport Corporation (holding 51% of capital) and Monnykit Co., Ldt (Japan) with 49% of capital.
The Hai Phong international container terminal is constructed on an area of 56.99 hectares including 44.9 hectares of land, 12 hectares of water surface. The HICT will construct two container terminals, roads, technical infrastructure, equipment synchronization…

Addressing at the ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc emphasized, two container terminals were started showing tight cohesion between Government and people of the two countries (Vietnam and Japan).
